A Beautiful and rare pair of Antique Victorian earrings.
This pair of earrings are just exceptional, designed as beetles they are crafted in 9ct yellow gold with ear wire fasteners.
The beetles are made up from foiled Citrine and Amethyst paste stones and each have a garnet set head.
The light sparkle of the bodies in low light creates a warm and mysterious sparkle.
The earrings have a closed back setting and the legs of the beetle are also modelled in 9ct yellow gold.
A fine and unusual pair of Victorian earrings, they are Unmarked, test as 9ct gold, C1870s.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear, some general surface wear commensurate with age, some wear to the foil backings.
