A handsome antique Victorian mourning ring.
Rich 18ct yellow gold with a central shield shaped cartouche with the letter M engraved in fancy script.
The gold band has finely woven brown hair running through the centre with engraved gold sections enclosing it within.
It is a very nice band, exceptionally well made, a real beauty with an unusual design.
Fully hallmarked for 18ct gold, Chester Assay office, 1899
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some wear to the inner band including a few dings and nicks, light surface wear commensurate with age, rubbing to the marks
