An attractive mourning locket.
Late Victorian era it is gold plated with black enamel accents to the front, it features a garter belt and the words In Memory of, the centre of the locket is engraved with initials as is the reverse, the initials are EB.
The reverse of the locket has an all over engraved design.
It is shown in the pictures with a Victorian gold plated longuard chain for style reference, the chain can be purchased separately in our shop, listing is for the locket only.
Would also look good on a velvet choker necklace or a finer chain.
A pretty sentimental piece.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some signs of use and wear commensurate with age, slight enamel loss and one small chip to the enamel, inside front cover has black enamel inside.
Approx measurements:
1.5" length with bale
