A stunning antique, mid Victorian era Scottish agate and Silver bracelet.
The bracelet features beautifully faceted panels of polished agate panels each with engraved silver end caps, each of these is intercepted by fine tubular carved agates with short chain links and silver caps.
The various agate tones and patterns make this bracelet an aesthetically interesting piece, such a magnificent piece of antique Scottish jewellery.
The bracelet fastens to the front with a shield shaped silver padlock fastener, this is set with an agate panel to the front and has a hairwork locket panel to the reverse.
Unmarked, tests as sterling silver, Scottish make c1860s.
Condition:
Very good used condition overall, light surface wear commensurate with age.

8.5 length
0.75" width
1.25" padlock length
0.75" width of padlock
