An attractive vintage garnet solitaire ring.
It has a very deep red single octagonal cut garnet stone, claw set to the front.
The ring has a smooth 9ct yellow gold band with engraved and tapering shoulders.
The garnet is so deep red that it appears almost black in some lights.
Stamped on the inner band 9k, c1970s.
Condition:
Fair used condition overall, minor surface wear, commensurate with age, small nibbles to the stone with one shallow chip to one corner.
