A rich antique 18ct yellow gold fancy rolo link chain necklace.
This is a good length chain at 18" length and is lightweight and easy to wear.
The gold is really bright and vibrant and it fastens with a barrel clasp, marked 9c, the clasp is a replacement and is 9ct yellow gold.
Great for layering it adding your favourite pendant or locket.
It has two types of rolo link, one smooth round and the other a double rim rolo link, this gives it a rich and interesting look, though it does have a tendency to kink sometimes.
Edwardian era, the chain tests as 18ct gold and the clasp is marked 9c.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, minor surface wear and small dings to some links commensurate with age and use, clasp is a replacement of the same period, possibly made up from a longer chain.
Total weight 3.22 grams.
Approx measurements:
Chain - 18" total length
Links 2.8mm width at the widest point
