A rare antique early 20th century Minton brooch painted and enamelled by Reuben Hague.
The brooch is made from ceramic and has been finely hand enamelled with a pheasant in a wood.
This highly detailed and beautiful piece is set into a gilt bezel frame and is impressed on the reverse Astra for Minton potteries.
It has an old C type clasp fastener with the pin slightly protruding from the side of the brooch.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some minor surface wear scratches commensurate with age.
Approx measurements:
1.25" length
1.60" width
