Antique Georgian Hessonite Garnet and Pearl ring, 9ct Rose gold

A gorgeous antique ring in this substantial Georgian Hessonite Garnet and Pearl beauty.

It is a wonderfully chunky one with a wide 9ct Rose gold band, tapering down from the shoulders with a lovely smooth finish.

The face is set with a rich and vibrant, cushion cut Hessonite Garnet and this is surrounded by a halo of creamy seed pearls.

The garnet has a wonderful warm orange hue really making it stand out from the crowd.

Marks and era:
Unmarked, tests as 9ct gold, Georgian era, c1810s

Condition:
Good used condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age and use, some nacre wear to the pearls and scratches to the garnet, previous resize evident.
