A beautiful antique Georgian mourning ring in 9ct yellow gold.
It has a smooth gold band with deep engraved shoulders with lovely fine detailing.
The centre features an oval glazed panel containing a lock of dark warm blonde plaited hair with a repousse gold border.
The ring has a closed back setting and is unmarked, tests as 9ct gold, early 19th century, Georgian era.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some age commensurate surface wear, some wear to the back of the band, the glazed panel has been replaced with a safety glass / perspex.
