An attractive and interesting Victorian 18ct gold band ring.
The face has an attractive geometric engraved design with three parallel lines running down diagonally.
It has a split band in the rich antique 18ct gold, one if the most interesting bands in its design, it is simple but very elegant.
A rare feature of this piece is that it bears the Victorian Diamond registration mark, to the inner band, a rare find on jewellery pieces, this tells us the ring was manufactured between the early 1860s to 1880s.
It is hallmarked but the marks are very worn, you can just see the 18 on the band and it tests as 18ct gold.
Stacks nicely with other rings too.
