A beautiful antique, late Victorian teardrop shaped citrine briolette pendant. .
A beautiful lemony yellow citrine suspended from a sterling silver bale.
The briolette cut is a most beautiful cut for gemstones, a hard cut to master, it provides plenty of sparkle due to the many facets.
It has an integral silver bale and a further added silver bale, ready to hang from your favourite necklace or chain, probably part of a drop or festoon necklace in the past but now a solo pendant.
Unmarked, late 19th century, c1890's.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, light wear, a small scratch or nick to one side of the citrine.
Approx measurements:
1.5" height / length including bale
0.65" width at the widest point
