A gorgeous Victorian silver book chain style necklace.
Chunky double rolo links with a silver beading fringe all the way around.
This is a gorgeous statement chain, the chunky links mean it's easy to add your favourite locket or pendant.
It fastens with a large antique silver plated spring ring fastener, this and the attached jump ring are replacements.
The chain is unmarked but tests as sterling silver.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, lots of rich patina, light surface wear commensurate with age, it is missing around 5 of the beaded silver balls mostly near the back so not so noticeable, spring ring shows some wear to the plate, 9ne ball has a small naturally occurring hole in it.
