A gorgeous Victorian, chunky Whitby jet faceted bead bracelet / bangle.
Huge chunky beads with a lovely faceted design and polished to a high shine.
They are strung on a black elastic.
This is a real statement piece and a lovely piece of Victorian jet jewellery.
Has been restrung.
Jet was a popular choice if material for Victorian mourning jewellery but dark jewellery also had its place as a highly desired form of jewellery for fashion.
Condition:
Very good used condition overall, some age commensurate surface wear, more to the reverse of the beads.
Approx measurements:
1.5" largest bead length
9.75" total circumference unstetched
0.75" depth
Would best fit between 6.5" - 8" wrist
