A truly magnificent vintage, retro era, c1940s Synthetic colour change sapphire ring.
This ring is all about that huge centre stone, it is a round cut gemstone with a large table, lightly faceted edges giving some extra sparkle and shine.
The stone has some gorgeous tones and is a nice warm purple shade.
It has a smooth 14ct gold band tapering from the setting and leading to the rich smooth polished yellow gold band, the inner band is marked 14k and has some numbers stamped, possibly a serial number.
This is a ring you know you are wearing and is a true showstopper.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, minor surface wear, commensurate with age.
