This beautiful antique 15ct gold locket is really very special.
Rich buttery 15ct yellow gold with a stylish Greek key design diagonally running down across the front of the locket.
This design runs down the back of the locket and there is a blank shield shaped cartouche to the reverse, this has not been personalised so could be personalised if desired.
Internally the locket has space for two photographs or tiny mementos, currently covered in a dark green faux leather and one side with a replacement glazing.
This locket is a fine piece and very beautiful.
It has a large Integral bale ready to hang from your favourite antique chain or necklace.
Marks and era:
Victorian era, c1880s, unmarked, tests as 15ct gold.
Condition:
Good used condition overall with signs of age and use, there is a small ding to the reverse visible on the photographs.
Approx measurements:
2" length including bale
1.25" width
14.21 grams weight
