A truly stunning antique Art Nouveau era Amethyst and pearl pendant brooch in 15ct yellow gold.
It is a beautifully crafted pieced, very well made and has an elaborate openwork design in a lyre shape set with creamy seed pearls, to the centre there is a sumptuous, rich purple Amethyst, oval faceted cut in a gold setting.
There are little flowers to each shoulder and an articulated floral drop to the bottom.
The rich yellow gold contrasts beautifully with the creamy pearls and the vibrant purple of the Amethyst.
The pendant can also be worn as a brooch.
It is marked on the reverse 15ct, Art Nouveau era, C1900s.
The brooch pin is base metal and the integral pendant bale is set with seed pearls.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age, minor surface wear to the stones.
Approx measurements:
1.5" length
1.10" width
Weight approx 6.22 grams.
Amethyst approx 1ct, estimated within setting.
