A pretty antique 9ct gold portrait pendant with a 9ct gold chain.
The sweetest portrait miniature print of a little girl, housed in an oval gold frame under glass with a decorative bale.
The portrait locket is empty on the reverse with a cream ground, it is fully hallmarked on the lower rim for Chester 1914, 9ct gold and the makers mark.
Marking the start of the WW1 era.
It comes on a contemporary trace twist chain, fully hallmarked for 9ct gold.
Condition:
Good overall with signs of age and use, some very light surface scratches to the gold and glass cover, a little area of torn paper under the glass, there is a small split in the gold frame near the hallmarks and the frame is a little skew on the glass.
Approx measurements:
2" height with bale / jump ring
