A beautiful antique 9ct gold front and back heart shaped locket pendant.
Edwardian era it is made from sterling silver with a 9ct gold front and back.
The locket has a smooth polished finish and the front is set with a little cluster of paste stones in a star shape with a single red paste to the centre.
The back has a plain finish, it is marked Silver Setting, 9ct gold back and front, the back has a number of small dents but the front does not.
Internally it has two compartments but no glazed covers, some remnants of two original photographs inside.
There is an attached gold plated jump ring for hanging from your favourite necklace or chain.
Edwardian era C1900s.
Condition:
Fair used condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age and use, some small dings and and dents to the reverse, internally there is some wear and tarnish.
Approx measurements:
1.75" length with bale
0.8" width
Weight approx 5.55 grams.
