Wow this antique 15ct gold, guilloche enamel and seed pearl brooch is really something special, don't you agree?
This pretty piece has so much going for it, the rich old 15ct gold glow, vibrant and detailed green guilloche enamel and a lovely shimmering cascade of shamrock leaves, adjoined by little gold chains that shimmer on movement.
The green enamel is so detailed and lush, like it was done yesterday!
There is a larger four leaf clover or shamrock for luck at the top of the brooch affixed to a gold knife edge bar, this is set with a single creamy white seed pearl.
Cascading down there are three further shamrocks but these are three leaved and these traditionally represent the holy trinity.
A beautiful antique piece, full of symbolism and so pretty.

Unmarked, tests as 15ct gold, late Victorian era c1890s

1.70" width at the widest point
1.50" length total
Weighs approx 5.58 grams
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, small loss of enamel on one leaf.
