A beautiful antique Art Nouveau style, sterling silver heart shaped jewellery casket.
It has a beautiful floral relief design to the lid in a typical Art Nouveau style, it stands raised on four decorative arched feet.
It has a small lip for ease of opening, inside the base is lined with the original green velvet lining.
Very detailed design and pretty design, perfect for smaller jewellery items or as a ring box.
Hallmarked on the outer rim with short hallmarks and on the inner rim with full hallmarks, London , 1904, makers mark for renowned silversmith William Comyns.
The underside has a wooden base.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear including light scratches and surface wear, small dings to the lid.
