A beautiful antique Victorian era mourning ring.
Crafted in 18ct yellow gold it has a beautiful fanned circular face set with rose cut diamond chips and a central creamy blue split pearl.
The shoulders are decorated in black enamel and have the words In Memory Of spread across the two sides.
It has a plain polished gold band fully hallmarked for 18ct gold, Birmingham Assay office, 1872.
It did at one time have a locket panel to the back of the face but this is no longer there.
Condition:
Fair used condition overall, some loss of enamel to the face, shoulders appear to have been re-enamelled with some losses, the split pearl is a replacement and does not sit inside the setting but is applied.
