A stunning antique Victorian, Scottish silver and agate arrow brooch or pin.
It is a large sized piece with a slender carved banded agate at its centre with varying tones from black to white.
The tip of the arrow and the feathered flight are crafted on beautiful engraved sterling silver.
The brooch has an old c type clasp fastener and a silver safety chain and pin.
Unmarked, tests as sterling silver, c1870s.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, a few tiny nicks to the agate at the joins to the silver, general signs of use and wear, c clasp is slightly loose in holding the pin.
Approx measurements:
1.15" width at the widest point
4.15" length
