An attractive antique, Victorian era sterling silver Albert chain or watch chain.
Nice chunky silver,graduated curb links with a dog clip fastener to one end and a Vintage silver fob and t bar.
The chain is made from sterling silver and is hallmarked for Birmingham 1876.
The fob is a later addition and is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1923, maker James Walter Tiptaff.
A lovely chunky heavy chain, the perfect piece for displaying your favourite pocket watch.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, overall patina and age commensurate surface wear, fob shows rubbing and wear.
Total weight 50.30 grams.
Approx measurements:
Chain - 12.5" total length
T bar - 1.5" width
Fob - 1.5" length and 0.9" width
Links 10mm width at the widest point
