A gorgeous antique Victorian silver collar necklace.
There is so much detailing going on in this necklace with heavily engraved links.
The necklace has flat rounded rectangular book chain type links connected with large silver jump rings, the links are engraved with ivy leaves on one side in an aesthetic manner, the reverse is a plain polished finish.
It has a large sterling silver spring ring attached which has a push type action, ready for attaching your favourite locket or pendant.
Unmarked, tests as sterling silver, c1880s.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some light surface wear and patina commensurate with age, there are a few dents to a couple of the links, noticeable only when inspecting closely.
Approx measurements:
Chain - 17.75" length including spring ring
0.5" width
