A beautiful pair of Antique 9ct gold Victorian tassel earrings.
Heavy Victorian gold tassles with a repousse engraved top and beaded detailing to the ends of the tassels.
They have later 9ct gold lever back ear wire fasteners with a diamond shaped design front.
The movement on these earrings makes them shimmer and shine and I just love a good Victorian tassel, the movement and design.
The tassels are unmarked, test as 9ct gold, the fasteners are stamped 9ct.
Late Victorian era, English make c1880s
The tassles are solid so are quite heavy.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear, some general surface wear and ageing, they are quite heavy to wear, not lightweight.
Approx measurements:
1.25" tassel drop
1.95" total length
