Solid sterling silver ashtray and match book cover / match safe with a bright and vibrant enamelled harlequin design.
Each piece has an enamelled Fox Terrier to the front, very highly detailed.
The enamels are clear and bright.
This is a stunning duo and an ideal as a display piece.
Fully hallmarked on both pieces, London import mark, 925, 1928, LSMLD makers mark.
Condition:
Very good used condition overall, some wear to the striking area of the matchbook holder, light patina.
Approx measurements:
Ashtray - 4.25" width, 4" length and 1" height, weighs approx 82.82 grams
Match book cover - 2.25" width, 1.5" length and 1" height, weighs approx 41.45 grams
