A gorgeous and grand antique, Scottish agate and Silver brooch.
It has an oval shape set with diamond shaped carved red Jasper each end and a tear drop cabochon top and bottom, a very interesting design.
The centre has a celtic cross set with bloodstone, Jasper and Moss agate and the oval rim has similar agates.
A particularly lovely example, very versatile and can be worn in many ways with a lovely unique design.
It is a fairly large sized brooch and it has an old C type clasp and pin fastener.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age, one crack repaired to one of the side agates, see photos, this is hard to notice unless studying.
Approx measurements:
2.25" width
1.75" length
