A fantastic antique, Victorian compass fob pendant designed as a ships wheel.
This is a nice sized piece, crafted in sterling silver, well designed as a ships wheel with a central working compass.
The compass is finished in gilt.
This would make the perfect nautical themed pendant pendant or Albert chain fob.
It is fully hallmarked to the outer rim for sterling silver, Birmingham 1879.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some surface wear / scratches commensurate with age, a little wear / tarnish to the compass hands
Approx measurements:
1.5" length with bale
1.25" width
Weight approx 6.66 grams.
