A pretty Victorian sterling silver locket.
It is an oval shaped locket with an almost brushed silver finish, the front has an attractive design of a belt buckle surrounded by forget me not flowers.
The design lets us know that this one was a sentimental piece with the buckle and flowers.
It does have quite a bit of wear to the back but is a pretty piece nonetheless.
No marks, tests as sterling silver, late Victorian era.
Condition:
Fair used condition overall, some age commensurate wear and signs of use, surface wear and scratches, it has a large amount of dents to the smooth reverse, no liner or glass within.
Approx measurements:
1.25" width
1.75" height including the bale.
