Vintage gold Opal, diamond and pearl brooch

An Art Nouveau style bar brooch, in solid 9ct yellow gold with a double bow style.

This brooch has a beautiful, high quality opal set into the centre with the most beautiful of colour matrices, the opal is 8mm in width.

Surrounding the opal in the gold arches of the bow are split pearls that graduate in size from the opal outwards, at the ends of the bows where they meet the bar there are two very nice round cut sparkling diamonds that finish it off nicely.

It is fully hallmarked for Sheffield, 9ct gold (375) and the year is 1990, makers mark S&G.

Very good used condition overall.
