You can't help but fall in love with this beautiful antique Star set diamond ring.
Set in rich buttery 18ct gold, this design is also known as a gypsy set ring due to the lucky star shaped settings, the iconic star design also giving it a lovely celestial touch.
It features a three old cut diamonds to the front centre, enclosed in the engraved star shaped settings.
The ring has a very slight D profile and a nice chunky feel and these stack well with other rings too!
A classic and timeless design, certainly one of our favourite styles!
Marks and era:
Victorian era, fully hallmarked for 18ct gold, Birmingham assay office, Date letter rubbed c1890s.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, minor surface wear, commensurate with age, some light surface wear, previous resize evident.
Ring face Approx 6.3mm length and 5.9mm band width.
Total diamond weight approx 0.25ct, estimated in setting.
Total weight: 5.4g
