Such a classic design that is elegant and timeless, the lavalier pendant, like this antique Art Nouveau era almandine garnet and pearl pendant in 9ct yellow gold.
It is a beautifully crafted pieced and has an elaborate openwork design, set with creamy seed pearls and rich purple / red almandine garnets with a pretty articulated teardrop to the base.
The rich yellow gold contrasts beautifully with the vibrant deep reds of the garnet.
Marks and era:
It is unmarked, tests as 9ct, Art Nouveau era, C1900s.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age, minor surface wear to the stones.
Approx measurements:
2" length
0.75" width
Weight approx 2.08 grams.
