You will be charmed by this romantic antique, early Victorian Almandine garnet and pearl ring.

It features a lovely central Almandine garnet with rich red and purple tones to the side of the garnet there are three creamy seed pearls set in a trefoil shape.

It has lovely beaded and scrolling designs on the shoulders and a rich yellow gold band.

It is a nice early Victorian piece with a closed back setting and claw set stones, the older pieces have a certain charm that you can't help but fall in love with.

It has been worn and loved but still has lots left to give.

Marks and era:
Early Victorian era, fully hallmarked for 22ct gold, Birmingham assay office, 1841, head of queen Victoria, makers mark partially worn.

Fair used condition overall, some age commensurate surface wear and signs of use, some scratches on the garnet, one pearl pushed back in the setting and has nacre damage, some dings to the top and bottom of the face, band is probably a replacement both of a similar era.
