A beautiful antique, Art Nouveau era 9ct Rose gold and blue Zircon brooch.
Large faceted oval blue Zircon stone with a lovely hue, set into a rich 9ct Rose gold setting, the brooch is a bar style brooch with typically art nouveau scrolling wirework curves.
This brooch is all about that beautiful vibrant stone, the delicate and rich rose gold setting it off nicely and providing a warm backdrop to the cool blue stone
Unmarked it tests as 9ct and has an attached gold safety chain.
It has a long pin and c type clasp fastener.
A very classy and pretty piece that would make an excellent gift, could also be worn as a tie or cravat pin.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, light surface wear commensurate with age, the stone has some light surface wear and scratches, small nibbles to the facet edges.
