Antique Emerald, Diamond and Ruby brooch, Sterling silver and 9ct gold

This magnificent antique Art Nouveau Emerald, Diamond and Ruby brooch is just breathtaking!

A beautifully designed piece with the greatest attention to detail, well crafted in the Art Nouveau manner with openwork and scrolling features, it is a bar type brooch with a tapering pointed shape and a central cluster.

It is made from 9ct gold with a silver front,the cool silver highlighting the gemstones nicely.

The central cluster features a single emerald cut rich green Emerald with a star surround and a halo of pinky red rubies.

The bar section has pretty floral openwork and is set with twinkling rose cut diamonds.

This brooch can be worn in many ways and is a pretty and versatile piece, perfect as a tie or cravat pin or to decorate a lapel, there are multiple ways this could be worn, it is a large size.

It has a modified C type clasp and pin fastener.

A very fine piece this would make for a beautiful gift.
