A gorgeous pair of Antique late Georgian gold drop earrings.
They have a stunning teardrop shaped lower half that has intricate applied gold flowers each set with a Ruby, the drops feature delicate tendrils and leafs.
The main drops are suspended from a small gold disc which attaches to the ear wire and each is set with a tiny seed pearl.
The rubies are vibrant with a rich pinky red glow.
One of the flower tendrils is set with a tiny hardstone bead.
The earrings have a gold ear wire fitting.
They are unmarked, test as 18ct gold, late Georgian era, c1810s
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, some areas of soft solder near the connections, one of the pearls has lost its nacre and is translucent in tone.
