I am in love with this gorgeous antique, late Georgian era Maltese Cross and I'm sure you will be too!
Everything about this piece is simply mesmerising, the rich deep red vari-cut garnets, the grand design and warm gold tones.
The garnets are foil backed and within each triangle of the cross there is a crowned heart design featuring a pear cut garnet with a single garnet crown giving this piece stacks on stacks of symbolism and beauty.
The pendant also has a brooch fitting so it is a versatile piece and can be worn in many ways.
Set into 9ct gold with a closed back setting and gold ball detailing to the edges of the cross.
A wonderful piece of Georgian jewellery, looks great hung from a nice gold long chain.
