Antique Regency era flower ring, Flat cut Garnet, Pearl and Ruby, 9ct gold
Antique Regency era flower ring, Flat cut Garnet, Pearl and Ruby, 9ct gold
My word this beautiful little antique Regency era ring is so pretty and delightful.
A rare find are pieces from this era and you can most certainly see both Georgian and Victorian influences in the jewels of the regency period.
It features a central flower design, which also resembles a cross or quatrefoil design, to the centre there is a creamy seed pearl and there are four flat cut 'leaves', there are three flat cut garnets and one stone has been replaced with a ruby.
Intercepting the red stones are four further seed pearls and this leads to the split or bifurcated style shank with it's interesting engraved shoulders.
