A beautiful late Georgian era rose cut diamond bezel set into sterling silver and added to a later 9ct rose gold bifurcated band.

The romantic twinkling rose cut diamond set into sterling silver, the back has been opened up and allows light to pass through the stone, the diamond has an approx 0.40ct, these alluring cuts were designed to sparkle in the candlelight.

This is wonderful and evocative piece, it would make a wonderful gift or alternative engagement ring.

Unmarked, mid 18th century, electronically tests as approx 18ct gold and silver
