A beautiful antique, Edwardian era synthetic Ruby and Diamond ring in 18ct yellow gold.
This beautiful ring is a boat head style ring with a gemstone set face.
It is set to the centre with good sized round cut Ruby with two diamond chips either side and a further two rubies beside the diamonds.
The rubies have a vibrant pinkish hue and the gold has that lovely rich old tone to it found only on antique pieces.
It has decorative chevron engraved shoulders and a smooth 18ct yellow gold band.
The ring is fully hallmarked for 18ct gold, Chester assay office, 1909.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, minor surface wear, commensurate with age, minor abrasions to the rubies.
Ring face Approx 6.1mm length, band 2.7mm.
Largest Ruby Approx 5.8mm, rubies approx 0.64 ct
