We love this unusual antique, early Victorian era Scottish agate conversion pendany.
Circular in shape it has a cut out design with a cross to the centre, the cross is set with varying agates including red jasper, jasper and bloodstone.
The warm gold bezel frame encasing the agates perfectly, it has a lovely cool grey Montrose agate set to the outer circular edge.
A beautiful piece, it originally started out life as a brooch but has at some point been converted into a pendant with a gold bale added, ready to hang from your favourite antique chain.
Marks and era:
Unmarked, tests as 9ct gold, early Victorian era, c1840s, later converted
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age, some tiny nibbles to some edges of the agates.

0.80" width
0.95" length
