A stylish early Art Deco era sterling silver silver capstan inkwell.
It is a large desktop inkwell with a pen rest to the top of the lid.
It has a weighted base and is hallmarked on the inside of the lid and on the side but this has rubbed a little.
A lovely inkwell for the desktop, Birmingham 1920 making it just an antique.
Condition:
Good used condition overall with some light surface wear and signs of use, the lid doesn't close flush, no liner, a few small dings.
Approx measurements:
3" height
5.5" diameter base
