An attractive antique sterling silver card case.
Edwardian era this card case was ahead of its time in design with a sunburst engraving that is synonymous with the Art Deco era.
It is an elongated rectangular shape with a curved body and flip top lid.
Short hallmarks to the outer of the lid and full hallmarks to the inner rim.
This is ideal for slimmer or more narrow cards.
A gorgeous design, fully hallmarked for Birmingham assay office, sterling silver, 1907, maker Henry Hobson and Sons.
Approx measurements:
3.3" width
1.55" length
Approx weight 38.78 grams.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, light surface wear commensurate with age, opening and closing is good, a tiny ding to one corner.
