A gorgeous antique, heavy, solid sterling silver cigar case.
Light curved shape to the body the case has the original gilt lining.
The front is monogrammed in fancy gothic script, RC, part of the monogram designed as a belt representing the prestigious Order of the Garter, very well engraved, dated 11th Dec 1906.
This beautiful cigar case is fully hallmarked for London Assay office, sterling silver, by the renowned maker Sampson and Mordan.
It retains the original elastic strap though this is fairly slack so could do with replacing for use.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use, some surface wear and scratches, strap is slack.
