A superb antique sterling silver double Albert chain and vintage enamelled silver fob.

The chain is made up of chunky silver curb links and has a dog clip fastener attached at each end, there is a further length / drop of curb chain which suspends an attractive 1920s enamelled silver fob.

The chain and dog clips are Birmingham assay, sterling silver, 1920 so are antique and the fob is hallmarked for Birmingham assay, sterling silver 1925 so slightly later but still a good age to it.

The fob is circular in shape with enamelled lettering to the front for LUG Handicap, which is the Ladies Union of Golf, the lettering is enamelled in red, white and blue.

The back is plain with hallmarks visible.

Each link of the chain bears the lion passant for sterling silver.

A nice heavy chain, the perfect piece for displaying your favourite pocket watch or pendant.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, some rubbing of the marks, overall patina and age commensurate surface wear.
