An attractive antique sterling silver stamp case pendant.
This pretty stamp case is designed as an envelope with a small compartment for holding postage stamps.
This could be used to hold a tiny photograph or keepsake.
Smooth plain polished silver, fully hallmarked on the inner of the envelope.
Birmingham assay office, sterling silver, 1902, maker Gourdel Vales and Co.
It has a later sterling silver spring ring attached marked 925 to hang from a chain / necklace.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, light surface wear / scratches and patina commensurate with age, a few tiny dings to the back.
Approx measurements:
0.95" length
1.05" width
Weight approx 5.48 grams.
