You can't help but be charmed by this rare and unusual antique Jerusalem Cross pendant.

A scarcely seen design for a pendant the Jerusalem Cross also known as the five fold cross is a revered and historical cross, a variation was also used as the cost of arms for the King of Jerusalem from the 13th century.

Traditionally it is a cross shaped like this pendant with four smaller crosses surrounding.

It is thought to represent Christ along with the four evangelists but also has other known symbolism such as spreading the word of Christ to the four corners of the globe.

It is an attractive piece with a matte brushed finish, nicely designed and quite heavy.

Possibly would have belonged to a religious figure of the time.

A very nice unusual piece to add to your collection.
