A handsome antique sterling silver cased pocket watch.

Late 19th century Swiss make, Paragon trademark it is made by F Schwab of Buren an der Aar.

The case is struck with Swiss silver hallmarks of 3 bears which were used for watches made in Switzerland and imported to the UK made from 935 silver, which would be classed as fine silver, slightly higher in finesse than sterling.

It has a white enamel dial with black roman numerals and gold tone hands, there is a subsidiary second dial with black hands.

To the reverse there is a fancy cartouche surrounded by an engraved buckled belt design, the symbol for the order of the garter, no monograms so this could be personalised.

Key wind watch, it does not come with the original key however we do supply it with a replacement key.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, running and ticking, glass is free from cracks and is nice and clear, bow is lacking pin and a bit out of shape, fine hairlines to the dial and some slight yellow spots and dark spots only noticeable on close inspection, winds well.
