A beautiful antique, late Victorian era sterling silver locket brooch.

It is designed as a target style brooch with Aesthetic engraving and applied Rose gold to the front to form a single flower.

The front centre is domed and raised and the brooch has a beaded outer rim.

It is a locket back brooch with a compartment to the reverse and a lift out glazed panel, could be used to store a tiny keepsake or a lock of hair but is currently empty.

It has an old C type clasp and pin fastener.

A very beautiful brooch, Late Victorian era, fully hallmarked for sterling silver, Birmingham assay office, 1882, maker David and Lionel Spiers.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, light surface wear commensurate with age.
