A beautiful antique, Victorian cabochon garnet and pearl tassel pendant.
The pendant is crafted from bloomed 9ct yellow gold, elaborately designed with reeded and beaded border housing a stunning rich bohemian garnet cabochon.
The pendant has a lovely shimmery foxtail fringe in 9ct gold.
The garnet is further set with a single seed pearl in a star setting.
It has a closed back and is engraved, From Mrs Gibson 1881, it is hollow and has an attached jump ring which is base metal.
Tests as 9ct gold, the front has bloomed, warm and rosey tones.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age, some dings to the reverse, a little of the gold bezel is missing on one side of the garnet, see photos.
